Job summary

HR Partners is seeking an experienced EL1 Project Support Officer to join the INV 5 project within Defence's IS&T program in Canberra. You will progress the project schedule, liaise with sponsors and stream leads, and provide high-level advice to senior leaders.

Your role includes developing strategic briefs, capability plans, and essential artefacts for Defence committees, with occasional travel as required. This is a 12-month contract with extension potential.

Qualifications

• 3 years of project support/coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate weekly project activities and maintain the project schedule.
• Develop strategic briefs, capability plans, and artefacts for Defence committees.
• Oversee risk and issue management and ensure timely escalation.
