Department of Education in Victoria is seeking a highly motivated Project Advisor to join the First Nations Curriculum and Truth Telling unit. You will support embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives across the Victorian Curriculum and coordinate the First Nations Curriculam Clusters program.

The role involves project management, stakeholder engagement, resource design and procurement, with travel to regional areas to support cluster meetings and engagements.

Qualifications

• Experience in the education sector, including knowledge of the Victorian Curriculum, public policy and the First Nations community sector is highly desirable.

Responsabilités

• Undertaking project management activities including updating project plans, monitoring milestones and providing progress reports.
• Engaging with stakeholders including guiding partnerships between participating Registered Aboriginal Parties and schools.
• Assisting with the design, development and curation of teaching and learning resources.
• Supporting unit management with operational and strategic activities, including contract management, procurement, and preparing draft briefings and correspondence.
