Job summary

Hi-Tec Oils is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our procurement function across Australia. The role focuses on developing strategies, managing supplier relationships and delivering cost-effective supply chains.

You will work with Operations, Manufacturing, Inventory, Finance and Sales to optimise purchasing, monitor risks and drive savings. Strong negotiating skills and ERP experience are essential to improve procurement systems and reporting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Procurement Manager, Senior Procurement or similar role.
• Experience managing local and international suppliers.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, FMCG, or industrial products.
• Strong understanding of purchasing, inventory and supply processes.
• Experience with ERP systems and procurement reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement national procurement strategies aligned with business requirements.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and payment terms with suppliers.
• Source raw materials, finished goods, packaging and consumables.
• Manage supplier relationships and monitor performance.
• Monitor market conditions, costs, and supply risks.
• Work with Operations to optimise stock levels and ensure timely supply.
• Collaborate with Finance to measure cost savings and procurement KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Improve procurement processes and data accuracy.
