Job summary

Origin Energy is seeking a Portfolio Optimisation Manager to shape the retail electricity, gas and broadband portfolio. You will synthesise customer insights, market dynamics and regulatory changes to optimise pricing and product mix, and present clear recommendations to senior leaders.

Working across Retail, Energy Markets and Finance, you will turn complex data into actionable insights, influence decisions at executive level, and drive long-term portfolio performance.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in portfolio optimisation, pricing, and commercial strategy within a regulated industry.
• Ability to translate data into clear business recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Proficient in SQL and data visualization tools to interpret complex information.

Responsibilities

• Develop portfolio and pricing recommendations to support growth and long-term performance.
• Own and optimise residential and business customer portfolios to improve value and retention.
• Assess market trends to guide pricing and portfolio decisions.
• Prepare executive-ready insights and business cases for senior leadership and Board decisions.
• Collaborate across Retail, Energy Markets, Finance and Regulatory teams to implement tariff changes and strategic initiatives.
