Job summary

Perigon Group in Australia is seeking an analytical and commercially minded Energy & Investment Analyst to support the optimisation of energy costs, operational performance and capital investment decisions across its national transmission network.

Working closely with the Sustainability & Energy Manager, you will transform operational and financial data into meaningful insights that improve business performance, reduce energy costs and support the organisation's carbon neutrality objectives.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in analytical roles across finance, operations, energy or commercial analysis.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills for building models and insights.
• Ability to present clear commercial insights to multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse energy and operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Manage energy cost analysis, billing accuracy, accruals and invoice validation.
• Monitor wholesale electricity costs and lead billing dispute resolution.
• Develop financial models, business cases and cost-benefit analyses for capital investments.
• Prepare monthly energy and cost performance reporting.
• Support demand response initiatives and sustainability programs.
• Assist with energy, emissions and compliance reporting.
