Job summary

Infrastructure NSW is seeking an Associate Director for Strategy, Planning and Innovation in Sydney. This temporary role supports decision-making across energy, water and telecommunications with a focus on decarbonisation and robust governance.

You will work with industry and government stakeholders to deliver policy reform, investment advice and high-quality strategic guidance through complex infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Experience in policy analysis and advisory roles.
• Ability to evaluate complex economic, financial and social issues related to infrastructure.
• Proven track record building and managing stakeholder relationships across diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor implementation of infrastructure policy initiatives to meet milestones and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to influence policy outcomes.
• Identify risks and opportunities to inform decision-making and propose viable options.
• Communicate clearly with senior executives through written and verbal advice on a range of issues.
• Lead and guide junior team members to deliver initiatives in consultation with senior executives.
