Job summary

Infrastructure NSW is seeking an Associate Director, Strategy, Planning and Innovation in Sydney for a temporary role through Sept 2027. You will support investment decision-making, policy reforms, and decarbonisation efforts across energy, water, and telecom sectors.

You will work with industry, utilities and government stakeholders, delivering high‑quality strategic advice and managing priorities in a complex environment. This role offers flexible hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in policy analysis and infrastructure planning.
• Ability to evaluate economic, financial and social issues affecting infrastructure.
• Proven track record in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor infrastructure policy initiatives to meet milestones.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders to influence policy outcomes.
• Identify risks and opportunities to inform decision-making and resolve issues.
• Communicate with senior executives with clear, timely advice.
• Lead and mentor junior team members to deliver initiatives.
