Job summary

Fitness & Lifestyle Group in Australia is seeking a People & Culture Business Partner to lead complex employee relations, shape workforce planning and partner with senior leaders. This hands-on role focuses on proactive people solutions and strategic influence rather than administrative tasks.

You will mentor a P&C Advisor, interpret Awards and Enterprise Agreements, and drive change initiatives across a multi-site network of clubs.

Qualifications

• Experience managing complex employee relations matters, including investigations and case management.
• Experience coaching, mentoring, or leading a HR/P&C Advisor.
• Experience interpreting Awards or Enterprise Agreements.
• Experience across the full employee lifecycle, with reward, recognition, performance or engagement programs.
• Experience supporting change management, restructures or consultations.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build relationships.
• Experience in multi-site or large-scale environments is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders to shape proactive people solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters, balancing risk and commercial considerations.
• Coach and manage a P&C Advisor, supporting their development.
• Apply Awards and Enterprise Agreements to keep decisions fair.
• Lead restructures, consultations and organisational design with leaders.
• Use people data and reporting to inform leadership decisions.
• Drive engagement, retention, succession and leadership development.
• Collaborate with the wider P&C function to keep the people experience joined up.
