Job summary

Adyen in Sydney is seeking a commercially savvy Payments Partnerships Manager to grow our card products and local payment methods while acting as the go-to expert on the Australian payments ecosystem.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and developers to lead programs across our Australian and regional partners, drive QBRs, and shape strategic partnerships to accelerate adoption of Adyen’s payment methods.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience managing accounts or partnerships in the cards payments sector.
• Deep knowledge of the payments landscape with the ability to interpret trends.
• You’ll be the primary contact for payment partners across Australia and New Zealand.
• Exceptional people skills to build relationships at all management levels.
• Make recommendations based on data and translate them into actions.
• The role has a commercial focus with ability to scope and plan new implementations.
• Ability to work with a global, multicultural team and drive initiatives to completion.
• Proven track record of delivering high-performance outcomes with measurable impact.

Responsibilities

• Drive all aspects of payment partnerships, including prioritisation and structuring of initiatives.
• Manage Australian partners with quarterly business reviews and incentives.
• Raise Adyen’s profile through industry engagement, joint product development, and co-marketing.
• Develop and execute programs aligned with strategic goals and market positioning.
• Provide expertise on global payment trends and regulatory context to internal stakeholders.
• Lead QBRs with top merchants to provide insights as needed.
• Collaborate with product managers during development of new products.
• Handle escalations from local and global teams to resolve issues with partners.
