Job summary

Pantoro Limited in Western Australia is seeking Senior Planning Engineers to lead strategic mine planning and life of mine optimisation from our West Perth Corporate Office, with regular site visits to Norseman operations.

You will evaluate future mining opportunities, develop scenarios, and collaborate with operational teams to deliver long-term value and robust implementation plans.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.
• 8+ years' experience in mining engineering, including site based roles.
• Experience in long term mine planning and LOM scheduling.
• Advanced skills in Deswik mine design/scheduling and budgeting.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic and long-term mine planning, evaluating life of mine options.
• Develop mine designs, schedules, production forecasts and budgets using Deswik.
• Perform technical and financial trade-off analyses to improve productivity and value.
• Collaborate with site teams to ensure LOM plans are practical and current.
• Provide planning support and cover for Senior Mining Engineers during absences.
• Contribute to reporting and continuous improvement of planning processes.
