Pantoro Limited is seeking a Senior Mining Engineer for the Norseman Gold Project in Western Australia. You will lead mine design, planning and scheduling, drive performance improvements and collaborate with operational teams to meet production targets.

The role offers ownership of key projects, mentorship of graduates and a pathway to growth within a expanding underground operation. Strong leadership and continuous improvement mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Mining Engineering.
• Significant experience in underground operations.
• Strong mine planning and scheduling experience.
• Proficiency with mine design and planning software.
• Strong analytical, communication and problem solving skills.
• Ability to work autonomously while contributing within a multidisciplinary team.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Leadership or mentoring experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Review and optimise short, medium and long term mine plans.
• Prepare and manage production schedules and forecasts.
• Monitor mining performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support budgeting, life of mine planning and strategic growth initiatives.
• Provide technical mentorship to Graduate and Mining Engineers.
• Collaborate with Geology, Survey and Contracting teams to maximise productivity.
• Champion safe and efficient mining practices throughout the operation.
