Job summary

One Door Mental Health is seeking a Program Manager for the Canterbury Medicare Mental Health Centre. You will lead an established community mental health service during a growth phase as we relocate to a larger, purpose-built facility in Campsie.

This full-time role includes an on-call roster and occasional after-hours and weekend work with flexible arrangements for the right candidate, focusing on partnerships, quality, and service improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work, counselling or other relevant profession with current registration.
• Proven leadership experience and ability to coach, mentor and develop a team to deliver best quality service outcomes.
• Experience in analysing service data to inform improvement and design.
• Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service operations, budget performance, quality and compliance against organisational targets.
• Foster a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed culture and support multidisciplinary teams.
• Coach, mentor and develop staff to strengthen capability and engagement.
• Build and maintain partnerships with community, clinical and sector stakeholders.
• Oversee governance, quality assurance and continuous improvement for service delivery.
