Job summary

Baxter is seeking a Market Planner to optimize inventory across multiple markets, balancing service levels with working capital while coordinating with Commercial, Demand, Network, and Logistics teams. You will drive deployment strategies and monitor KPIs to minimize risk and maximize customer satisfaction.

The role requires a strong background in inventory management, end-to-end supply planning, and experience with planning systems such as Kinaxis Maestro, ERP tools, and analytics platforms.

Qualifications

• Candidate has a tertiary degree in a relevant field with experience in supply chain planning or inventory management.
• Strong analytical capabilities; able to interpret service, inventory, operational and financial metrics to guide decisions.
• Proficiency with ERP and planning tools (Kinaxis Maestro, Rapid Response) and analytics platforms (Power BI/Tableau).

Responsibilities

• Own finished goods inventory health across assigned markets.
• Develop and execute inventory and deployment strategies balancing service, inventory, and working capital.
• Monitor service levels, inventory turns, excess/obsolete stock and supply costs.
• Lead inventory balancing, redeployment, and productivity improvements.
• Identify supply risks, develop recovery plans, and drive issue resolution via governance forums.
• Manage POs and inbound supply with suppliers and logistics partners.
• Recommend allocation strategies during constraints aligned with commercial priorities.
• Act as liaison across Commercial, Customer Service, Logistics, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Supply teams.
• Support new product launches, transitions, lifecycle management, relabeling, and manufacturing changes.
• Analyze inventory performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support financial planning via forecasting, reserve management, and working capital optimization.
