Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride.

The Role

Are you a commercially minded supply chain professional who thrives on solving complex planning challenges and driving operational excellence? We're looking for a Market Planner to play a critical role in ensuring product availability across assigned markets while balancing inventory investment, service levels, working capital, and supply risk. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of supply chain planning, commercial operations, and customer experience, partnering with stakeholders across the business to deliver optimal outcomes for customers and the organization. As a key member of the Integrated Planning team, you'll act as the central link between Commercial, Demand Planning, Network Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Quality, Regulatory, and Finance teams, ensuring supply risks are proactively managed and inventory strategies are effectively executed.

About You

You are a proactive and commercially minded supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced, matrix environment. With experience in inventory planning, supply planning, deployment planning, or broader end-to-end supply chain operations, you bring strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and can confidently assess inventory risks, supply challenges, financial exposure, and working capital impacts. You have a solid understanding of inventory management, supply chain planning processes, and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE), along with experience driving inventory optimisation, allocation strategies, network balancing, and supply risk mitigation. A strong communicator and relationship builder, you can influence stakeholders across multiple functions, navigate ambiguity, resolve complex issues, and make sound decisions under pressure. Most importantly, you are customer-focused, results-oriented, and passionate about continuous improvement, always looking for opportunities to enhance service, operational performance, and supply chain efficiency.

Key responsibilities
  • Own the health and performance of finished goods inventory across your assigned markets.
  • Develop and execute inventory and deployment strategies that balance customer service, inventory investment, and working capital objectives.
  • Monitor key supply chain metrics including service levels, backorders, inventory health, inventory turns, excess and obsolete stock, and supply chain costs.
  • Lead inventory balancing, redeployment, and inventory reduction initiatives to maximise inventory productivity.
  • Identify supply risks and demand-supply imbalances, develop recovery plans, and drive issue resolution through appropriate governance forums.
  • Manage purchase orders and inbound supply execution, coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners to address supply challenges.
  • Recommend and implement allocation strategies during periods of supply constraint while aligning with commercial priorities and customer commitments.
  • Act as the key liaison across Commercial, Customer Service, Logistics, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Supply teams.
  • Support new product launches, product transitions, lifecycle management activities, relabelling projects, and manufacturing changes.
  • Analyse supply and inventory performance, identify root causes of recurring issues, and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support financial planning through inventory forecasting, reserve management, and working capital improvement initiatives.
Key requirements
  • Tertiary degree in Supply Chain/Business/Engineering/Operations, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working within supply chain planning or inventory management environments.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP and planning systems such as Kinaxis Maestro (or similar).
  • Experience with reporting and analytical tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Proven ability to interpret service, inventory, operational, and financial metrics to support business decision-making.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to judge when to deep dive.
  • Extensive knowledge of import/export regulations.
  • Proficient in Rapid Response or other relevant planning systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively collaborate with others, including influencing, communication, negotiating, and conflict management in a geographically diverse, matrix organization.
  • Fundamental project management abilities and lean/continuous improvement approach.
  • Customer-focused with a service approach.
