Job summary

Toyota Finance Australia (TFA) is seeking a highly organised Legal Projects Coordinator to support the General Counsel and Legal Managers with coordinating strategic initiatives and governance across the Legal Function. This is a 12-month contract role and onsite in Sydney.

The ideal candidate has experience in project coordination, legal operations or business analysis, strong MS365 skills, and proven ability to manage multiple priorities with diverse stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience in project coordination, legal operations, business analysis or transformation role.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience preparing reports, presentations and executive-ready communications.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Ability to identify process improvements and contribute to positive change.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Experience in legal, risk, compliance, financial services or professional services environments will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support delivery of legal projects and strategic initiatives.
• Maintain project plans, milestones, logs, risk registers and reporting.
• Prepare business cases, briefing papers, governance submissions and executive reports.
• Support process improvement by documenting current and future state processes.
• Develop dashboards, trackers and reporting for legal operations and governance.
• Coordinate activities across Legal, Risk, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, Technology, People & Culture and external partners.
• Assist with change management, communications, training and stakeholder engagement.
• Support continuous improvement aligned to Ways of Working and Kaizen.
