Job summary

Transurban is seeking a highly capable Legal Coordinator to support the Group General Counsel and Head of Legal Operations across Australia. You will coordinate multi-state workflows, manage diary and email duties, and drive operational excellence within the national legal team.

In this role you will optimise processes, oversee travel and onboarding, and help implement new legal tech. A proactive, organised professional with strong communication skills will thrive in this dynamic in-house

Qualifications

• Extensive EA/office management experience in a legal or corporate setting.
• Proven ability to coordinate across multiple states and jurisdictions.
• Strong MS Office proficiency and tech-savvy mindset.
• Commercial acumen with understanding of legal processes.
• Exceptional time management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level executive support to the Group General Counsel and Head of Legal Operations.
• Manage complex cross-state coordination for the national legal team.
• Coordinate team meetings, strategy sessions, and annual offsite logistics.
• Oversee travel arrangements and onboarding for new team members.
• Identify and drive change projects to improve operational excellence in legal functions.
• Champion new tools and technology to maximise efficiency in legal services.
• Support records management and compliance across the team.
• Coordinate renewal of practicing certificates and external panel communications.
• Manage core financial administration tasks, including PO lifecycle and expenses.
