Job summary

Optus, an Australian telecommunications leader, seeks an experienced Associate Director, Inclusion & Employee Listening to lead and evolve our inclusion, diversity, gender equity and listening agenda.

This high-visibility role partners across the enterprise to shape culture, strengthen the employee experience, and translate workforce insights into meaningful action that drives trust, engagement and business outcomes.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading IDE, Employee Experience or Culture programs in a large organisation.
• Proven ability to translate workforce data into executive insights and actions.
• Experience preparing Board, Executive and Senior Leadership presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise-wide Inclusion, Gender Equity and Employee Listening strategies with governance and roadmaps.
• Drive end-to-end employee listening programs from design to insights and action planning.
• Translate data into executive-level recommendations and actions for ExCo/Board.
• Lead governance and delivery of gender equity priorities, RAP commitments and DEI policy frameworks.
• Partner across People & Culture, Technology, Communications and Business Leadership to embed inclusive practices.
• Build tools and frameworks to enable leaders to create inclusive, high‑performing teams.
