Job summary

Lime Recruitment is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Newstead for a 9-month contract with hybrid working. You will lead and deliver key business systems, digital initiatives, and regulatory IT programs to support a data-led regulator.

You will develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, timelines, and governance, and communicate progress to senior leadership. Experience in government or transport sectors is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience managing medium to large, complex IT projects and programs.
• Proven track record delivering projects with complex dependencies, scope control, and budget management.
• Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written communication for high-level briefings and reports.
• Exceptional interpersonal and stakeholder management across diverse teams.
• Experience in government, regulatory, or transport environments desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage key IT projects and digital initiatives on time, budget, and scope.
• Develop project plans covering budgets, resources, risk, and governance.
• Provide status reports and briefings for governance committees and senior leadership.
• Negotiate change proposals and resolve issues to keep critical-path progress.
• Establish and govern vendor contracts for implementation and support.
• Develop stakeholder engagement and communication frameworks across groups.
