Job summary

Lawson Elliott Recruitment is seeking an Inventory-Cost Controller in Sydney's Western Suburbs. The role involves valuing inventory, analysing labour costs, and performing cost analyses across projects while working closely with procurement, warehousing and logistics teams.

You will report directly to the CFO in a fast-paced, product-based environment (FMCG, Retail, Manufacturing) and must bring CA/CPA qualifications with a proactive, autonomous work style and strong stakeholder engagement

Qualifications

• CA/CPA qualified with experience in fast-paced product-based environments.
• Strong background in cost accounting or inventory accounting.
• Able to work autonomously and engage with non-finance stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Inventory valuation by assigning cost values to products.
• Review labour costs and cost analysis of inventory.
• Cost analysis of projects and stock monitoring.
• Collaborate with procurement, warehousing and logistics.
