Job summary

Infrastructure NSW is seeking an Associate Director, Strategy, Planning and Innovation, to work in the data centres and energy workstreams in Sydney on a temporary basis. The role involves supporting investment decisions, implementing policy reforms, and coordinating with government and industry stakeholders.

The position offers a competitive base salary plus superannuation, commensurate with experience, for a period up to September 2027.

Qualifications

• Experience in evaluating complex economic, financial and social issues impacting infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage diverse stakeholder relationships across industries.
• Strong written and verbal communication with senior executives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and monitor the implementation of infrastructure policy initiatives to meet milestones and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain effective stakeholder relationships to gather information and influence policy outcomes.
• Identify risks and opportunities to inform decision-making and propose practical solutions.
• Communicate clearly with senior executives across the sector with timely, accurate advice.
• Lead and guide junior team members to deliver initiatives in consultation with senior executives.
