Job summary

The Department of Finance in Canberra is seeking an ICT Procurement & Contracts Officer to enable procurement decisions and contract management within the CPT. The role involves drafting artefacts, supporting evaluations, and ensuring CPR compliance while reporting progress and maintaining governance records.

The ideal candidate will work autonomously in a small, experienced team, providing strategic advice on ICT procurement and contract management, and building strong stakeholder relationships

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience with the Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPRs).
Proven procurement and contract management experience.
Ability to deliver impartial, evidence-based procurement advice.
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Deliver day-to-day BAU ICT procurement and contract management.
Draft procurement artefacts and support evaluation activities.
Provide impartial procurement and probity advice.
Ensure compliance with CPRs and internal rules.
Report on CPT and ICT Division activities weekly.
Maintain governance records and supplier performance data.
Support APS5 development and team contribution.
Manage procurement queries and escalate issues.
Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
