Job summary

CSIRO is seeking an IT Contract Governance Officer to support procurement and management of ICT contracts and services valued around AU$90 million annually. You will work with procurement, contract management, legal, and vendors to ensure compliance with Commonwealth Procurement Rules and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience in Government/Education/Business settings.
• Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including influencing outcomes and negotiating.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work with limited supervision, and deliver accurate outcomes on time.
• Contribute effectively within a specialized team, provide guidance, and foster collaborative improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication, able to prepare professional documents and explain complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and operate policies, systems, and procedures to achieve procurement and contract management goals.
• Maintain and engage a small, proficient ICT Contract Governance team.
• Produce end-to-end supplier management documentation, reports, and performance metrics.
• Assist contract award administration and issues management to sustain ICT hardware, software and services.
• Apply knowledge of Commonwealth procurement policy and Commonwealth Procurement Rules.
