Job summary

UnitingCare Queensland is seeking an HR Business Partner to provide strategic and hands-on support to senior leaders across workforce planning, change management and people initiatives. You will work closely with the People & Culture function to translate priorities into practical action and drive organizational effectiveness.

The role emphasizes partnering on transformational programs, data-driven decisions, and stakeholder coaching, with hybrid work by agreement.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a relevant field.
• Significant experience in a comparable HR partnering role, providing strategic and tactical advice to senior leaders.
• Demonstrated experience implementing HR initiatives and programs and supporting complex change.
• Strong business acumen, critical thinking and the ability to work through complex workforce issues.
• Excellent stakeholder management, coaching, written and verbal communication skills.
• Sound knowledge of end-to-end HR processes, employment legislation, policy and internal controls.
• Confidence to satisfy relevant probity checks, including a Nationally Coordinated Police Check and evidence of Right to Work in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Partner with fellow HR Business Partners and People & Culture colleagues to deliver key organisational priorities.
• Support leaders to embed change from transformational programs, e.g., United & Stronger in Our Homes.
• Use workforce data to provide insight, identify risk and support evidence-based decisions.
• Contribute to major workforce and industrial relations priorities, including Enterprise Agreement bargaining.
• Roll up your sleeves and provide practical HR partnering support across a broad range of people matters.
• Work collaboratively in a high-performing People & Culture team to strengthen capability, engagement and performance.
