Job summary

dormakaba Australia & New Zealand is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to partner with senior leaders and frontline teams, shaping people strategy while delivering hands-on HR support. You will coach leaders, influence decisions, and work autonomously within governance and corporate frameworks to drive impactful people outcomes.

The role emphasizes workforce planning, employee relations, change initiatives and data-driven decision making in a diverse manufacturing, service and sales

Qualifications

• At least 7 years of HR experience, including HRBP/HR Manager roles.
• Strong knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Proven employee relations capability with complex matters.
• Ability to coach senior leaders and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leaders and blue and white collar teams across a diverse business to balance strategic priorities with hands-on HR delivery.
• Provide practical HR support across manufacturing, service and sales teams.
• Advise on employee relations, performance matters, policy interpretation and employment issues.
• Lead and support investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Guide organisational design, team effectiveness, culture and change initiatives.
• Support talent management, onboarding, engagement, wellbeing and broader HR programs.
• Use HR data and metrics to identify trends and support informed decision-making.
• Maintain compliant HR processes, documentation and systems, and collaborate across the wider HR team.
