Job summary

Multicultural Consulting Services (MCS) is seeking an accomplished Senior HR leader to drive strategic and operational people outcomes for Victorian infrastructure projects from our Melbourne base. You will partner with executives and project leaders across the employee lifecycle.

The role requires eight+ years in HR, including senior HRBP or HR manager experience in construction or infrastructure, with strong knowledge of Australian employment law and modern awards.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in HR, Industrial Relations, Business or related discipline.
• Eight years of progressive HR experience including senior HRBP or HR manager in construction, engineering or infrastructure.
• Strong Australian employment law, modern award and workplace compliance knowledge.
• Experience in bid resourcing, workforce planning and project mobilisation/demobilisation.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercially informed HR advice across corporate teams and project operations.
• Lead workforce planning, organisation design, mobilisation and resourcing inputs to tenders.
• Manage complex employee and industrial relations, award compliance and policy matters.
• Act as the senior HR contact for Victorian delivery teams and regional sites.
• Guide performance cycles, succession, talent development and remuneration benchmarking.
• Deliver learning initiatives and inclusive people practices.

The Opportunity
