Job summary

ASIO is seeking motivated HR and Learning & Development professionals to join our teams from AE4 to AE6 in Canberra. You will support employees, manage training programs, and coordinate governance activities in a secure, high-trust environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary point of contact for employees seeking HR and L&D support; provide information and guidance on programs and services.
• Manage end-to-end administration and logistics for L&D training programs, HR events and governance committees.
• Maintain HR and L&D databases, tracking tools, and corporate records; support information and data management.
• Support HR projects and identify opportunities to streamline administrative workflows and increase efficiency.
• Ensure actions adhere to security, privacy requirements, and HR legislative framework, upholding professional values.
• Lead HR and L&D processes for AE5: manage discrete projects, develop workforce metrics, respond to manager requests.
• Mentor and coach junior staff; oversee HR and L&D programs from development to implementation.
• Oversee HR and L&D databases and records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Drive continuous improvement in HR/L&D workflows and procedures.
• Ensure alignment with security and privacy requirements across activities.
