Job summary

ASIO seeks motivated HR and Learning & Development professionals to join its HR and L&D teams at AE4–AE6 levels. Contribute to attracting, developing and supporting ASIO’s workforce in a secure, professional environment.

Roles focus on HR operations, policy, analytics and development programs, with emphasis on ethics, privacy, and governance. Positions are based in Canberra with a strong focus on collaboration, continuous improvement and delivery of impactful learning solutions that support

Responsibilities

• Be a primary point of contact for employees seeking HR and L&D support.
• Manage end-to-end HR and L&D processes including events and governance committees.
• Maintain HR and L&D databases, tracking tools and corporate records.
• Support HR projects and streamline administrative workflows.
• Ensure actions adhere to security protocols, privacy requirements and HR laws.
• Lead HR and L&D processes and manage discrete projects from development to implementation.
• Mentor junior staff and manage high-sensitivity workforce requests.
• Oversee HR and L&D programs to attract, develop and retain ASIO staff.
