Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or significant experience across fundraising, grants, philanthropy, corporate partnerships or business development.
• Demonstrated track record of securing significant funding from philanthropic, corporate or government sources.
• Experience developing and leading successful fundraising strategies with measurable outcomes.
• Strong writing and communication skills for persuasive proposals and donor communications.
• Ability to build relationships, influence and negotiate with senior stakeholders.
• Strong commercial and analytical capability, including managing income targets, budgets, performance and ROI.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and ongoing development of the Fundraising Strategy 2025-2030.
• Build and manage a strong funding pipeline across corporate partnerships, philanthropy, grants and other streams.
• Develop compelling grant applications, proposals and business cases that demonstrate need and impact.
• Grow relationships with funders, donors, corporate partners and philanthropic networks.
• Oversee broader fundraising streams including bequests and general fundraising.
• Build fundraising capability across Lutheran Services and lead a team as the function grows.
• Represent Lutheran Services as a fundraising ambassador across networks.
