Job summary
GHD is seeking a GIS & Location Intelligence Team Lead to lead the Perth-based GHD Digital team, guiding GIS, geospatial, and location intelligence services across projects. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery to strengthen capabilities and ensure high-quality client outcomes.
You’ll mentor a team of GIS specialists, shape technical direction, and drive adoption of modern GIS and analytics technologies, including cloud platforms and AI-enabled approaches.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience leading GIS/geospatial teams in consulting or infrastructure environments.
- Strong technical expertise in GIS, data management and geospatial analytics.
- Experience delivering enterprise GIS solutions using Esri technologies and cloud platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor GIS/geospatial professionals and foster a high-performing, customer-focused culture.
- Provide technical oversight and governance for GIS projects ensuring delivery excellence.
- Shape strategic direction and delivery of GIS solutions while integrating data analytics and AI where appropriate.
- Support business development and client engagement to showcase GIS capabilities.
