Job summary

WSP seeks a Digital Geoscience Team Lead to drive national geotechnical and contaminated land data management, with leadership across data capture, storage, and analytics for major projects in Australia.

You will guide data models, reporting automation, and data-driven decision making, working with diverse teams, vendors and clients to deliver scalable, high-quality solutions that empower project delivery and business growth.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, GIS, Computer Science or Data Management.
• 10+ years in geotechnical, environmental, geological or related data management roles.
• Experience in field data capture and digital field systems.
• Proven experience designing, implementing and managing geotechnical and environmental databases.
• Strong understanding of geotechnical investigation, contaminated land workflows and environmental monitoring.
• Experience leading data management projects at regional or national scale.
• Ability developing tools and processes that optimise data interrogation.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary data teams and stakeholder engagement.
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with ESDA, gINT, OpenGround, BoreDM and ArcGIS.
