Job summary

GHD in Sydney is seeking a Senior Data & AI Consultant to join our Data & Insights Advisory team. You’ll lead data-driven solutions across transport, water, energy, and urban development projects, delivering dashboards, analyses, and insights for client decision-makers.

With 4+ years of experience, you’ll design analytical approaches, work with Python, SQL, Tableau or Power BI, and collaborate with clients to define challenges. This hybrid role offers three days in the office and two days remote.

Qualifications

• Degree in data science, engineering, CS, analytics or related field.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Python and SQL.
• Experience creating dashboards with Tableau/Power BI.
• Knowledge of data management and statistical concepts.
• Experience with Git.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data-driven solutions across infrastructure projects.
• Engage proactively with clients to understand challenges and build trusted relationships.
• Design analytical approaches, write code and analyze data using Agile methods.
• Apply data, AI and ops techniques to improve client performance.
• Produce dashboards, presentations, reports and visualisations for diverse audiences.
• Use AI and GenAI responsibly to support insights and automation.
