Job summary

Redland City Council is seeking a GIS Spatial Systems Team Leader to lead a team of four GIS professionals and shape the enterprise spatial environment. You will own the Spatial Strategy, oversee ArcGIS Enterprise, AGOL, data governance and platform integrations, while guiding strategic initiatives and budgets.

The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on implementation, driving modern GIS capabilities, cloud GIS, and real-time spatial analytics across Asset, Planning, Environment,

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading GIS teams and delivering enterprise-scale spatial information solutions.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing GIS strategies and roadmaps.
• Strong expertise with Esri ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online.

Responsibilities

• Lead a GIS Spatial Systems Team of 4 professionals to deliver enterprise GIS initiatives.
• Own and deliver the Spatial Strategy and enterprise GIS roadmap for the Council.
• Oversee spatial platforms, data governance, and integrations across departments.
