Job summary

Manassen Foods Pty Ltd is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive Foodservice sales and margin growth across a national distributor network in Australia. You will expand distribution, engage with foodservice distributors and end-users, and lead demand generation to pull inventory through the supply chain.

You will build territory plans, manage key trading partners, deliver sales and distribution objectives, and provide market insights to cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in Foodservice sales or business development with distributors and end users.
• Proven ability to grow an existing customer base and win new business.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and relationship skills.
• Ability to plan and manage a territory and meet KPIs.
• Proficiency with data analysis to support decisions.

Responsibilities

• Execute the state Foodservice sales strategy and develop territory and customer plans.
• Deliver sales, gross margin, contribution and distribution objectives.
• Manage relationships with foodservice distributors and wholesalers.
• Build relationships with contract caterers, hospitality groups, chefs and end users.
• Establish structured call plans and identify opportunities.
• Win new customers and secure incremental ranging and distribution.
• Develop and deliver product presentations and commercial proposals.
• Coordinate NPD launches and range extensions with distributor readiness.
• Maintain forecasts, CRM records and opportunity pipelines.
• Provide market insights and work cross-functionally.
