Job summary
City of Canterbury Bankstown Council seeks an experienced Coordinator, Fleet Management to steer strategic fleet planning, asset management and lifecycle programs. You will oversee procurement, fleet systems and disposal while guiding policy and budget development.
You will lead ongoing improvements, manage risk and safety compliance, and build a high-performing Fleet Administration team. This role supports a large NSW council focused on delivering reliable, fit-for-purpose fleet services.
Qualifications
- Qualifications in fleet management or business field are required.
- Experience with whole-of-life fleet and asset management.
- Experience in budgeting at capital and operational levels.
- End-to-end procurement experience for fleet assets and services.
Responsibilities
- Lead strategic fleet planning and the 10-year replacement program.
- Oversee fleet procurement, contracts and disposal with compliant, value-focused buying.
- Drive safety, regulatory compliance and performance across fleet operations.
- Manage fleet systems, software, registration programs and reporting.
- Lead risk management, insurance, WHS, and stakeholder consultation.
- Develop and mentor the Fleet Administration team for efficient service delivery.
