Job summary

Groundbreaking Mining Solutions is seeking a Finance Business Partner to lead the finance function for mining equipment services, parts and project delivery. Based in Forrestdale, you will partner with operations and deliver accurate financial information to Executives and the Regional CFO.

You will own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and internal controls, while leading a small finance team to drive profitability and governance in a dynamic, project-based environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a similar finance leadership role.
• CA or CPA qualification and degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience building and leading finance teams.
• Strong technical accounting capability including revenue recognition, WIP and inventory management.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and multi-entity reporting.
• ERP experience across multiple systems, including inventory management.
• Commercial mindset with ability to influence operations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly management accounts and board reporting.
• Advise executive leadership on financial and commercial matters.
• Own annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
• Lead cashflow management and optimise working capital.
• Oversee project financial performance including WIP, margins and cost control.
• Provide commercial support on tenders, pricing and business decisions.
• Establish robust financial controls and governance frameworks.
• Lead audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
• Develop and mentor the finance team.
