Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified with relevant tertiary qualifications.
• Experience in operational finance or commercial management within mining, resources or a related industry.
• Strong capability across budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and cost management.
• Confident interpreting contracts and supporting commercial negotiations.
• An effective communicator who translates complex information into practical recommendations.
• A proactive leader with sound judgement and a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial performance reporting.
• Oversee month-end processes and deliver clear analysis of costs, margins and business performance.
• Partner with operational teams to identify savings and improve financial outcomes.
• Develop financial models and evaluate capital investment proposals.
• Review contract performance and support commercial negotiations and the resolution of contractual issues.
• Prepare reports, presentations and commercial correspondence.
• Maintain effective financial controls and support compliance and audit requirements.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Lead and develop the finance and commercial team.
