Job summary

Careermode Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Finance Business Partner for its growing business partnering team supporting Australian mine sites. You will report to the Commercial Finance Manager and work closely with operations leadership to drive financial performance and governance across sites.

Your role includes overseeing month-end reporting, assisting with budgets and forecasts, and developing commercial models to analyse claims and costs.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in commercial facing Management Accounting, Financial & Commercial Analysis, or Business Partnering role.

Responsibilities

• Partner with finance, operations and leadership to drive financial performance and strategic decisions across mine sites.
• Oversee month-end reporting for mine sites.

Off the back of strong results across their Australian operations, they’re investing heavily in business partnering to drive the next phase of growth. You’ll report to the Commercial Finance Manager, with a dotted line to the CFO, and your responsibilities will include:

The Role

Partner with finance, operations and leadership teams to drive financial performance, governance and strategic decisions across mine sites

Oversee month-end reporting for mine sites

Support budgets & forecasts, review, variances, and commentary

Develop and maintain commercial models, including claims and cost analysis

Analyse operational performance and identify commercial improvements

About You

CA or CPA qualified (or equivalent)

Ideally, you have proven experience in a commercial facing Management Accounting, Financial & Commercial Analysis, or Business Partnering role

Strong ability to engage and build relationships with operational leaders and executive leadership will be essential

Prior industry experience within Mining & Resources is highly desirable for this position
