Job summary

ADF Careers is seeking an enthusiastic Events Coordinator to join our Events team in Australia. You will assist with planning and coordinating events that showcase careers within the Australian Defence Force, with a focus on delivering engaging experiences and a strong return on recruitment investment.

Reporting to the Events Team Leader, you will develop events plans, coordinate logistics, manage stakeholder communications, and contribute to post-event reporting.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of event experience
• Excellent organisational skills
• Strong relationship-building abilities
• Ability to prioritise and manage multiple activities
• Customer-centric and energetic approach
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate events to maximise recruitment exposure
• Develop events plans and roadmaps
• Communicate event requirements including travel and vendors
• Oversee high-volume administrative processes for event delivery
• Occasionally attend on-site to oversee delivery and set-up
• Complete financial reporting and contribute to budgets
• Build positive stakeholder relationships with Commonwealth of Australia
• Ensure excellent candidate and community experience throughout journey
