Job summary

TasPorts is expanding its stakeholder and community engagement function and seeks a leader to shape, deliver and elevate engagement across Tasmania. You will guide engagement strategy with industry and government partners, building trust and measurable outcomes as major port infrastructure is invested in Devonport, Hobart and Burnie.

Qualifications

• Experience leading stakeholder and community engagement in a complex environment.
• Experience developing and implementing engagement strategies, frameworks and reporting.
• Experience establishing formal community engagement structures such as advisory panels or liaison committees.
• Strong relationship-building skills across community, industry and government stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to draft clear messaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead stakeholder and community engagement strategy to support TasPorts’ objectives.
• Deliver engagement with communities and stakeholders across TasPorts’ operations and capital program; establish channels for ongoing input.
• Develop partnerships, sponsorships and community investment programs delivering measurable benefits.
• Draft stakeholder communications and engagement materials; take activities from planning to delivery.
