Greater Shepparton City Council – Shepparton VIC is seeking an Emergency Management Specialist to join the Emergency Management and Resilience team. The role focuses on developing and implementing robust emergency management plans to enhance the region’s safety and resilience.

You will lead plan reviews, deliver community education sessions, coordinate training exercises and build networks with government and emergency service partners to meet legislative obligations.

Qualificações

• Understanding Victorian emergency management arrangements including mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery.
• Strong background in strategy and procedure development within a highly structured legislative framework.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including negotiation, influence and stakeholder networks.
• Experience in development, implementing and monitoring comprehensive training programs.
