Job summary

EnergyAustralia is seeking a Project Document Control Lead to steer the document control function across major energy projects in Victoria. You will guide the team, shape the document management strategy, and ensure governance and quality across critical project documentation.

You’ll implement efficient control processes, manage interfaces with stakeholders, and administer online document platforms, enabling timely delivery of solar, pumped hydro, and grid-scale initiatives in a fast‑moving

Qualifications

• Relevant undergraduate qualifications (preferred – not essential).
• Solid document controlling experience on projects in comparable industries.
• Knowledge of document management tools such as InEight Document, Aconex and Objective.
• Experience in setting up and administering online document and communications management platforms.
• Excellent oral and written communication with strong attention to detail.
• Experience as part of a project delivery team.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement the document management strategy for the Energy Projects group.
• Develop efficient document control processes and update them as needed.
• Assist with establishing new project instances in the Document Management Platforms.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing project documentation is clearly identifiable before distribution.
• Provide assurance that documents/drawings conform to the Energy Projects Document Process.
• Manage the document review process to meet project schedules and objectives.
• Establish relationships with stakeholders and ensure adoption of document control processes.
