Job summary

6Points is seeking a Document Controller for a major cross-sites transport project in Australia. You will manage the common data environment, document registers, version control and transmittals, ensuring accuracy and compliance across greenfield and brownfield works.

The role requires 2+ years in document control or project administration on a $100m+ project, with strong MS Office skills and the ability to obtain a construction induction card if needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' document control or project administration experience.
• Experience on a construction or engineering project of $100m+.
• Hands-on use of CDE/EDRMS.
• Strong Microsoft Office and spreadsheet skills.
• Able to obtain a construction induction card if site attendance is required.

Responsibilities

• Administer common data environment (CDE) or EDRMS for the project.
• Maintain document numbering, revisions, statuses and approval workflows.
• Coordinate document transmittals and approval processes.
• Manage drawing registers and specification controls.
• Produce document reports and management metrics.
• Support document-related audits and compliance reviews.
• Respond to document requests and manage access permissions.
• Coordinate with design, construction and client teams on document matters.
• Maintain project information security and confidentiality standards.
• Support commissioning document preparation and handover dossier completion.
