Job summary

Blue Mountains City Council is seeking a highly experienced Director to lead Infrastructure & Project Delivery Services. The role focuses on strategic planning and delivery of critical infrastructure, ensuring climate resilience and accessibility for the community.

The successful candidate will manage a large portfolio, oversee safety, WHS and continuous improvement while fostering strong stakeholder relations and delivering sustainable outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience leading a Directorate with a large indoor and outdoor workforce.
Strong strategic and operational capabilities in infrastructure and transport.
Proven ability to manage budgets and deliver complex capital works programs.

Responsibilities

Lead strategic planning, delivery and maintenance of the City's infrastructure and assets.
Oversee road network design, transport solutions, stormwater and flood risk infrastructure.
Drive implementation of Visitor Paid Parking and Bus Management schemes while balancing funding constraints.
