Job summary

Orange City Council is seeking an experienced strategic leader to join its Executive Leadership Team as Director Infrastructure. Reporting to the CEO, you will oversee roads, water and sewer services, waste operations, building services, parks, sporting precincts, the airport and major capital projects.

The Opportunity

Orange City Council is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to join our Executive Leadership Team as Director Infrastructure.

Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, you will lead a diverse portfolio spanning roads, water and sewer services, waste operations, building services, parks, gardens, sporting precincts, the airport and major capital projects.

This is a rare opportunity to lead the infrastructure, open spaces and essential services that support our growing community while shaping the long-term growth, sustainability and liveability of Orange.

Working closely with the CEO, fellow Directors and Councillors, you will drive significant infrastructure investment, lead a broad and capable workforce, and help deliver outcomes that benefit our community for generations to come.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and demonstrated executive leadership experience within infrastructure, engineering, asset management or related environments.
