Job summary

CAE is seeking a Commercial Contract Manager based in Homebush, NSW or Brisbane, QLD. You will manage contracts, maintain DMS and CDRL items, oversee subcontractor relations, and ensure export control obligations are met.

You will support the Program Manager, draft guidance, manage insurance, and contribute to continuous improvement while working within a global defence-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 year’s experience in Contract Management.
• Demonstrated experience with the ASDEFCON ideally in the acquisition and support environments.
• Sound experience in commercial management.
• Ability to proactively problem solve and implement practical solutions for the customer, and the business.
• Proven track record in contract management within a matrix and project environment.
• Excellent communication, drafting, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in the day to day management of the Contract.
• Manage and maintain the Document Management System, including configuration management of the Contract and related items.
• Develop and administer CDRL items.
• Subcontractor and supplier management.
• Manage insurance requirements supported by global risk management.
• Draft, guide and recommend actions to the Program Manager and Business, as appropriate.
• Support the Business with new opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement activities.
