Job summary

CAE is seeking a Commercial Contract Manager to join our Legal, Contracts and Commercial Team, based in Homebush, NSW or Brisbane, QLD. You will handle contract governance, change proposals and subcontractor management to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.

The role requires strong negotiation, drafting, and communication skills, with a focus on defence and security contracts. Candidates should have 5+ years in contract management and a background in ASDEFCON is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in contract management.
• Experience with ASDEFCON in acquisition and support environments is preferred.
• Strong commercial management and negotiation capabilities.
• Excellent drafting, presentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in day-to-day contract management and governance.
• Maintain contract documentation and configuration management for CDLP items.
• Develop and administer Contract Change Proposals and quotations.
• Manage subcontractor and supplier relationships and export control obligations.
