Job summary

CAE is seeking a Commercial Contract Manager to join our Legal, Contracts and Commercial Team, based in Homebush, NSW or Brisbane, QLD. The role manages contract governance, data lists, and change proposals to ensure compliance and mitigate commercial risks.

This role engages with customers, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders to resolve disputes, manage CDLR/quotations, and oversee export control obligations, with opportunities to influence deals and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Contract Management.
• Experience with ASDEFCON ideally in acquisition and support environments.
• Sound experience in commercial management.
• Ability to proactively problem solve and implement practical solutions for the customer and the business.
• Proven track record in contract management within a matrix and project environment.
• Excellent communication, drafting, presentation, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Program Manager in day-to-day management of the Contract and governance.
• Maintain the Document Management System and contract configuration management.
• Own and manage Contract Change Proposals and Survey & Quotes.
• Develop and administer CDRL items.
• Subcontractor and supplier management.
• Manage insurance requirements with global risk management.
• Draft, guide and recommend actions to the Program Manager and Business.
• Support the Business with new opportunities and continuous improvement activities.
