Momentum Energy is hiring a Credit and Collections Analyst in Melbourne to manage overdue debt across Commercial & Industrial portfolios and assist Mass Market debt positions. You will lead collections, investigate disputes, and implement process improvements while collaborating with AR and risk teams.

The role requires experience in credit risk management, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic energy environment focused on renewable energy transformation.

Formación

• Experience in credit risk management within commercial, industrial, SMB and residential accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in credit risk calculations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to convey information clearly.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Analytical, problem-solving and logical thinking abilities.
• Ability to prioritise and manage deadlines in a changing environment.
• Team player able to support and adapt in a changing company.
• Experience managing lower value books and switching portfolios.
• Proficient in intermediate Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Build and maintain relationships with commercial and industrial customers, internal stakeholders, and business partners to support positive customer outcomes and effective debt recovery.
• Deliver customer-focused solutions by investigating and resolving customer enquiries, disputes, and payment issues in a professional and timely manner.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across the commercial and industrial portfolio, partnering with Business Relationship Managers, Accounts Receivable, and the Senior Credit Risk Analyst to resolve outstanding debt matters.
• Manage outstanding debt balances within agreed budgeted thresholds and ageing targets.
• Support the reduction of bad debt risk through proactive collections, dispute resolution, and portfolio management strategies.
• Investigate and resolve customer disputes, billing issues, and payment concerns to facilitate collection of outstanding balances.
• Administer overdue debt processes including phone calls, correspondence, payment arrangements and escalation activities.
• Perform account reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of customer account balances.
