Job summary

HealthWISE is seeking a Corporate Services Manager to lead the corporate services function across Armidale, Tamworth or any HealthWISE location. The role is full-time on a 12-month contract, focusing on HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, staff relations and WHS.

You will report to the Executive Team and drive governance, asset management and procurement strategies. The role requires strong contracts experience, exceptional organisational skills and the ability to coach staff.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in business or related discipline and/or relevant operational experience.
• Experience in contract management and procurement processes.
• Strong organisational, time management and problem solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Understanding of issues affecting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a dynamic and flexible team, including the ability to effectively manage staff remotely.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of facility management, governance and asset management.
• Lead the development and review of organisation-wide policies and procedures in collaboration with executive and staff.
• Undertake and oversee procurement and contract negotiations for organisation-wide services.
• Manage compliance with leases, asset management and HR requirements; implement internal audit processes.
• Keep up to date with Australian workplace legislation (Fair Work, WHS) and oversee WHS plans and safety programs.
• Coordinate recruitment processes, HR compliance, contracts, and training/development requirements.
• Provide leadership, direction and coaching to direct reports.
• Prepare annual budgets for areas of responsibility and monitor budget performance.
• Oversee efficient and cost-effective management of the vehicle fleet.
• Identify efficiencies, cost savings and innovative solutions to support financial sustainability.
• Develop and maintain professional contacts to facilitate business opportunities.
• Oversee risk management, monitoring trends and implement quality improvements.
• Oversee crisis and disaster management processes for the organisation.
