1 Hotel Melbourne is seeking an experienced events and conference manager to plan and deliver high-profile events. The role focuses on coordinating room setups, catering, AV, guest logistics and post-event analysis, while building strong client relationships and ensuring objectives are met.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
• Experience managing conferences or events in hospitality.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning and delivery of conferences and events, including room setups, catering, AV, rooming lists and guest logistics.
• Build client relationships and maintain clear communication of event objectives.
• Partner with Sales on proposals, site inspections, contracts and handovers.
• Coordinate with hotel departments and on-site teams to ensure requirements are delivered.
• Lead and support event teams on site for a smooth client experience.
• Respond to changes or challenges calmly during events.
• Review feedback and performance to improve future events.
